Posted a response on the current Bones_ga comment fic, so I can now continue the Fandom Snowflake Challenge in order. Found here:

So, maybe you know that I love fanfic?

Pretty sure the answer was yes.

Anywhosers...A fic that I've liked for a while (I believe I recced it in an earlier post, but am too lazy to check and one of my arms is falling asleep) is I'm the Hero of the Story. And when I somehow ran out of new fic, I realized I should reread my old favorites which was awesome and super time-wasting fun. And when I ran out of old fic, I explored the writers of old fic, whereupon I realized that the aforementioned fic was written by a super awesome person named monroeslittle who has written other awesome Veronica Mars fic AND a Friday Night Lights fic that I read twice with little interruption AND the best and only Hunger Games fic that I have ever read.

So in short, visit here to check out some of the super awesome fics now opened to you because we all know awesome people never get as much loving as they should.

Five left, and other flist spamming material

Maybe you read the last post, maybe not, but I mentioned the I was (don't freak out) running out of fic. So here is the part of the meme and my life where I ask for recs.

I would especially like recs for Veronica Mars (Logan/Veronica), Friday Night Lights (Matt/Julie, Eric/Tami), Buffyverse (Buffy/Angel), Bones (Bones/Booth, Hodgins/Angela), Gilmore Girls (Rory/Logan)...but give me Chandler/Monica from Friends, Peter/Olivia (Fringe), Dollhouse (Anthony/Priya), Lie to Me's Cal/Gillian or even some Ned/Chuck (Pushing Daisies). Any length, for seriousness. I love oneshots because I can just go through them really quickly and because I often feel like they can get more profound, but I can get really absorbed in chapter fic, so that's super much fun too.

A three fic into into Buffy/Angel, and other obsessions

Once upon a time, about five years ago, I stumbled into the Buffy the Vampire Slayer fandom, which eventually turned into the Angel fandom as well. Which mostly turned into, for me, the Buffy/Angel fandom. In the other rec posts, you can find a lot of happy ranting about these fics. I'm tired, so I'm just going to list them here.

So here's a summary of some Buffy fanfics that hit the shows highlights:
Buffy's Diary- Old school Buffy in that it's based in the early seasons and it was written then.
Swan Song- This is my favorite post-Gift fic. It goes sad and fluffy, but remains awesome throughout. It ventures into slight Angel/Spike slash, but not even enough for me to object.
Five Dates: The Mature Plan- I'm a big fan of Maren, who I first found through IWRY marathon. This is a gorgeous post-Chosen, post-NFA, post-everything fic that makes me smile a lot. Like super a lot. Happily ever after, my dovelings. The best way to live the B/A life.

Getting super close here, and other meme triumphs

I haven't really talked about Firefly very much, so I wanted to speak to my favorite episode of that epic, short-lived show.

I love Out of Gas. It's got a great sequencing thing going on with the flashbacks, I've got a thing for backstory (Parts in the Sum of the Whole, anyone?) and it ends on that great surprise ending: Serenity wasn't the ship he was talking about that whole time and she fits right in there with the whole ragtag bunch of space cowboys.
