According to my beta, Bean (more on her here) this is "not [my] best work". Sorry about that. I was trying to avoid the obvious (oh, come on, fess up. Who didn't think of IWRY when they saw that prompt?) and it might have worked out depressingly/badly. Hopefully it's adequate.
