Flist roundup

Hey all:
I've been thinking about doing this for a while, and for some reason decided to do it now (my feet are asleep and I'm too lazy to shift and move them so I decided to Get Stuff Done?).

I see some of you a lot, and I see some of you just a little, and I see some of you not at all. Some of you are new and some of you have been around for a while, and I'd like to get to know you all a little better. So if you have a minute, I'd love for you to drop me a comment on this post. Just something small about what's going on in your life, with school or your family or whatever book you're reading; something quick about your current fandom obsession or what brought you to friend me on lj.

So, that's it. I'm going to stop procrastinating and go take my shower in preparation for getting gross and sweaty hiking tomorrow. :)

1. I've been hanging out with friends a lot, which makes me happy. (:
2. I'm also reading A Clockwork Orange and I really like it so far.

Is A Clockwork Orange creepy? I'd heard that it is, which is not something I look for in a book, but I've been trying to read more classics.

Who is that in your icon?

I don't think so, but that's just me. It does have things like rape, and things like that because the author wrote it in the 60's and he imagined the future where people were running the streets and there was no law and things like that. I watched a little bit of the movie and seeing it visually did make it more creepy.

David Tennant. :)
